In 2024, we're each concentrating on a limited number of events – but they are certainly big ones! No doubt others will be added along the way though ...
This year, we're attempting to raise money to find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease and Cancer Research UK.
Oundle 10k 2024: January 7th
The first event of the year, and a last-minute sign-up to end the first full week of training for the Rob Burrow Marathon in May.
Cambridge Half Marathon 2024: March 3th
We missed this last year as Mike was having surgery to remove a kidney tumour, so running this means a lot, especially to Mike.
Oakley 20, 2024: March 24th
Christine will be running this 20 mile road race as training for the Rob Burrow marathon
Zigzag Running Huntingdon Challenge 2024: April 14th
This is a run as much as you want in 6 hours event, so Christine will be going long, while Mike will target a half marathon.
Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon/Half 2024: May 12th
Christine will once again being running the full marathon, while Mike will run the half
Dragon Coastal Ultramarathon 21st July 2024
Both Mike and Christine will be running the 30 mile distance from Southerdown to Cardiff
Great North Run 2024: September 8th
The biggest half marathon of them all. This will be Christine's 19th consecutive GNR and Mike's 18th.
